Operating Room

ORs run from 07:00 am-05:00 pm, Monday thru Friday at both locations. After-hours and weekend emergency on-call staff are available at the hospital 24/7.
Tenured staff including Registered Nurse Circulators, Certified Surgical Technologists, Anesthesia Technicians, and OR Orderlies.
Highly trained and experienced staff who are experts in the field of orthopedic and spine surge1y.

Surgical Procedures include but are not limited to:

  • Total Joint Replacement (traditional and tissue sparing/ minimally invasive approach)
  • Sports Medicine
  • Hand and upper extremity surgery
  • Foot, ankle, and lower extremity surge1y

Surgery Scheduling

The Surgeiy Scheduling Department runs from 08:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday with an hour break for lunch from 11 :30am-12:30pm. The Surgeiy Scheduler is available at 210-507-4141, for immediate assistance during breaks or after hours, the OR Charge Nurse is available at 210-507-4198.

Sterile Processing

Comprised of 2 separate departments at the hospital and the Outpatient Surgery Center. Experienced, certified Sterile Processing Technicians are responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, processing, sterilizing, assembling, testing and managing the instrnments and equipment needed in surge1y. Sterile processing staff play a large, important role in preventing surgical site infections. Operating Rooms
