Pipkin

C. Stuart Pipkin, III, M.D.

Dr. Pipkin has received his medical degree in 1983 from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. His internship in General and Residency in Orthopedic Surgery were both served at Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Upon completion of his Residency, Dr. Pipkin continued his studies with a Spinal Fellowship at Tulane University and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Pipkin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Southern Methodist University, Dallas Texas. He is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery from the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in 1991.

He is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.

In addition, Dr. Pipkin has written several medical articles, and delivered educational presentations to physicians attending medical meetings.  Dr. Pipkin has a special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery.
