A Message From Our CEO

It is my pleasure to welcome you and your family members to South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital (STSSH), where our goal is to provide you with an extraordinary experience. Our surgical hospital was built by physicians with the patient in mind.

The entire healthcare team at STSSH understands the unique set of emotions and factors that can influence health outcomes. We are excited to offer the community a facility developed to treat the whole patient through advanced technologies, personalized care, and specialized amenities.

Our surgical team is comprised of the leading experts in the field of spinal surgery, orthopedics and more. These physicians have built national reputations based upon results-driven care.

But our doctors are more than successful surgeons; they are also professionals who compassionately care for the person behind the patient. As a nurse myself, it is highly important to me that patients feel we have exceeded their expectations throughout their entire stay.

KENS 5’s Karen Grace interviewing Dr. Amanda Marshall with San Antonio Orthopaedic Specialists at South Texas Spine & Surgical Hospital. In December she performed a FREE total hip replacement surgery through OPERATION WALK USA. It’s a true holiday gift of mobility!

We recognize Dr. Harris! With a great interview teaching about the benefits of knee replacement surgery.
